This taster session will be exactly what you’re looking for, whatever your level of experience is. Whether you’re a complete beginner or if you’ve had your kit for a while, the taster session is designed to cater directly to you.
There are two ways the session develops: If you are a complete novice, you will learn how to use your camera correctly for all circumstances, whether it be portrait or motion etc… or, if you already know a fair amount, we will get you up to speed with what you don’t know, whatever that may be. We’ll discuss the way forward for you at the beginning of the session, over a coffee (or tea) and then this will be integrated into our running plan of the day…or night.
Whatever route you require through the taster session, you’ll walk away with the knowledge you need most, as well as few dos and don’ts to help you along.
How many times have you been somewhere at night and thought ‘I’d love to take a photo of that’, but don’t really know how to. If so, the night taster session if definitely for you. You’ll learn how to get that image and at the same time, be more aware of the problems and mistakes you may face. Many people think that taking pictures at night can be a lot more difficult, but the reality is that it can be much easier at times.
After the night session you’ll be more confident with taking night photos. I also make sure that you fully understand what you need and why you need it, then I’ll show you the different ways of taking images at night.
Knowing how makes things much easier, obviously, but when it comes to being able to capture a part of your life (or someone else’s) that you’ve previously let pass you by, it’s an incredible feeling. Whether it’s just your local town, or that gorgeous holiday harbour, you’ll be able to get the shot you want.
If you think about it, more than a third of our lives in the UK is spent in low light or night time conditions. Seems a lot doesn’t it, especially when we look at what we can’t have during those conditions. So why not take the night session and open up a whole new chapter of what you can have.
